The Red Brick Art Museum inaugurated a new exhibition, Xu Bing: Art Beyond the Kármán Line, on November 6. This unique exhibition is centered around the Xu Bing Tianshu rocket, launched by Xu Bing and i-Space, and is brought to life through an extensive array of texts, pictures, video materials, and artworks, as well as a thorough exploration of the history of space art. The fate of this "art rocket" prompts discussions about the relationship between contemporary art and space, misconceptions about earth civilization, who holds the rights to use space resources, and how art can expand to incorporate new scales of thought.
