The exhibition, Xu Bing: Book from the Ground Pop-up Book, opens at Beijing's Tokyo Gallery + BTAP on September 25, 2021. Curated by Junhao Xue and jointly organized by Tokyo Gallery+BTAP and CASHART, the exhibition will be open until November 28.

The exhibition showcases the artist's various works from the Book from the Ground project, created over different periods since its inception in 2003. This includes Book from the Ground-Studio, Book from the Ground: from Point to Point, and Book from the Ground Pop-up Book. In addition to tracing the development of the Book from the Ground project, the exhibition also presents, for the first time in recent years, Xu Bing's collaboration with CASHART. This signifies the latest exploration of Book from the Ground in different media and spaces.
